The club, first started in 1990 is run by Senior Coach Dave Wright and Club Coach Chris Marchant.

The Club enjoys sucess at all levels of competition. Many of our players have reached county standard, and several have become members of the Great Britain squad. Although we encourage and support suitable members to take part in competitive judo, not everyone wishes to persue this route and many simply enjoy learning a very different past time.

The club is a registered member of the British Judo Associatio (BJA), and is run under BJA rules. The BJA is the official governing body for the sport in the UK, which is in turn affiliated to the Sports Council, the British Olympic Association, the European Judo Union, and the International Judo Federation. 

New members always welcome.....first 30 minute taster session is free...then only £2.00 for next three 30 minute lessons....
